Presentation
Restaurant Papà Francesco has been established since 1980 as a discreet and welcoming meeting place for national and international customers.
The family management of Augusto, Rita, and Paolo ensures a pleasant and warm atmosphere without sacrificing that 'touch of class' that is needed for more 'special' occasions.
Lunch is suitable for brief business meetings due to the limited time available, which is nonetheless satisfied with the offering of tasty daily specials.
The soft lighting, background music, and our warm presence guarantee that dinner has that typically Italian 'Dolce Vita 60s' atmosphere that tourists love so much. It's no coincidence that every year (and often multiple times in the same period) they return to us, transforming that initial 'Customer-Restaurant' relationship into 'Family Friend'.
This aspect is what gratifies us the most and rewards us for the efforts and commitment that we put into our work daily.
And we haven't even mentioned the after-theater experience where, for the luckiest guests, it's possible to find oneself near the tables of the most famous and great opera masters such as Placido Domingo, Anna Netrebko, Francesco Demuro, Michael Schade, Jonas Kaufmann, Juan Diego Flórez, Gustavo Dudamel, etc.
Sundays and holidays are all dedicated to families with children, with the peace of mind for parents that this doesn't cause any disturbance.
With the beginning of spring, it is possible to have lunch or dinner outdoors while admiring two of the most important places in Milan's historic center: 'La Scala' and Palazzo Marino.

Quality Policy
The cuisine, curated by Paolo, is entirely centered on tradition. His long experience as a Chef began at Capannina di Franceschi in Forte dei Marmi, then developed as personal chef for Silvana Mangano and Dino De Laurentiis, starts with very simple but refined dishes, always making a careful selection of raw ingredients.
All staff members are also aware of the importance of their work for customer protection, and are systematically trained on hygiene and food safety issues through specific training courses held by specialized consultants.

All our premises are equipped with Air Conditioning and smoke extractors
For business meetings, the restaurant has a Private room called "Artists' Room" where you can admire photos of clients who frequent our establishment and famous personalities.
The bathroom is equipped for the "Differently Abled".
For the little ones, a nursery Service is available.
Upon request, "special" menus are available: Vegetarian, Low-calorie meat-based and Low-calorie fish-based. In cases
of serious food intolerances such as gluten, we kindly ask you to book a day in advance. In any case,
a menu for celiacs is available.
In order to please all our clients, the menu has been prepared in 12 different languages: English, French, Turkish, Hungarian, Polish, Russian, Japanese, Chinese, Arabic, Czech Republic, Slovak, Bulgarian

Upon request, Mr. Paolo can provide you with information about the preparation methods of our dishes and the origin of our
fundamental raw ingredients.
Process Control Methods
A careful selection of suppliers, who comply with hygiene requirements dictated by laws in force, ensures the safety and origin of raw ingredients which are stored in appropriate refrigerated cells, separated by product type.
In addition to the experience gained over almost 25 years of activity, the high standard of quality and safety of our dishes is guaranteed by the introduction of new technologies such as "rapid temperature reducer" whose correct use reduces bacterial growth in the food we prepare.
All kitchen work areas and equipment are systematically cleaned and sanitized according to a cleaning plan that prescribes the frequency of operations and products to be used. The same cleaning plan is provided for all restaurant premises.
The conditions of the structure and its regular maintenance and cleaning prevent the entry of insects and rodents, for which there is a monitoring system managed by a specialized company.
The entire food hygiene and safety system is managed through the Company Self-Control Plan, implemented through the HACCP method which, through specific procedures, guarantees the healthiness of our preparations and the protection of our customers.
In order to guarantee the above, we use accredited consultants in the sector who, throughout the year, monitor the following:
- check-up of the activity to verify compliance with the hygienic state of the premises, production, storage, administration and sanitization
- training and updating of staff for the correction of non-conformities detected control and verification
- of the wholesomeness of food produced and served and the potability of water through product samples
- control and verification of the hygiene of work surfaces and operators' hands through swabs
- Report of analyses carried out on samples through the issuance of certificates by the official Laboratory of analysis of the Department of Veterinary Sciences and Technologies for Food Safety.
